Donate Old Furniture:
Fife Council has begin to work in association with Zero Waste Scotland and the Community Recycling Network for Scotland (CRNS). The Council prime motive is to promote a campaign on usage of old furniture to create new recycled furniture. Fife has appealed local people to donate their thrown aside unused furniture and other household items. Those donated furniture will be picked up by the local community based organisations and the items will be used to make new furniture and the recycled items will be made available to all at a low cost.
Save Environment:
The main selling point of the campaign is that old furniture should be reused, which is equally good for people and environment. However, furniture donations from the locals shall be collected by well organised volunteers from home for free. It has been initiated to educate the donor in these issues for which a blue guide will be given to all. The blue guide will provide a detailed information regarding donation of furniture and other household items. It will also contain some valuable tips that will tell a donor with all other possible ways of reusing an old item. Fife has provided with additional information on their site in a PDF format to benefit all users. This campaigning process can help a householder to replace home with better quality furniture fittings.
